I'm turning into David

http://www.pixyland.org/peterpan/index.html

I'M INVITING THIS GUY TO MY BIRTHDAY, THE WEDDING, AND TO EVERY EVENT EVER!!!! YOU HAVE TO SEE THE OUTFITS--I'm returning my dress so that he can make one for me.

(I SWEAR I came across this doing actual research for an actual project. I know that's hard to believe but it is the truth.)

I Like Willie Nelson

Since we got engaged everybody's advice is "make time to go out and not do wedding stuff". So we pretty much do that all of the time and never do wedding stuff. Like last night when we went to Santee to the drive-in to see Dukes of Hazzard. I know what you are thinking, why Dukes? BECAUSE WE WERE IN SANTEE. There was nothing but cowboys whoopin' and hollerin' along with the movie. It was great. The good news is that Jessica Simpson is barely in the movie so it wasn't terrible. And let's face it, Willie Nelson is cooler than just about anybody.

Awesome.

uglydress.com. Slut Bag is a particular favorite. And for those with strong constitutions, see http://www.uglydress.com/itsmaxsizmic.html. Make sure you do the backside.

This is what I do instead of wedding planning.

My Punked-Out Dog

LOOK WHAT I DID TO MY DOG! He is now awesome.

And don't worry, that faux-hawk extends all the way down his tail.

Blatter Control Issues by the Black Eye Peas

So I'm getting crap (rightly so) for not updating.

All I can say is I told you so.

Alright here is what I've been up to. 2 weekends ago I went to Street Scene which was excellent despite the move from Downtown. Actually being in a parking lot wasn't as awful as I thought it was going to be, it never felt unbearable crowded and finding parking wasn't such a monumental pain in the ass. Despite the Pixies playing on Saturday, Friday night was my favorite with the best sets being Hot Hot Heat, Louis IVX, and Flogging Molly. Actually Flogging Molly was the best performance over the whole weekend mainly because I do love me an Irish Jig and nothing makes me happier than to see me a 30+ some Irishman singing his little red headed heart out. Anyway after helping a 40 year old woman who was throwing up all over herself while screaming "I DON'T NEED A WHEELCHAIR AND I HAVE MS!!!!" we took off a little early and missed more of the White Stripes and Social D than we had intended. I'm not one of those people who pretends that they are too cool for the White Stripes now that they are all mainstream, I love them openly and was stoked to see them live but here is a little tid bit for all of you out there: A 2 PERSON BAND IS VERY VERY BORING TO WATCH. Anyway Saturday was good, getting to see the Pixies was AMAZING and The Flaming Lips did a rendition of "Bohemian Rhapsody" that was a weekend highlight. Plus they wore animal suits. This is an underrated performance enhancer. Not to be ignored was Snoop Dogg who was a total asshole and as he rapped a "Text this number to support The Snoop Dogg Pee Wee Football Team boosters" was projected on the jumbotron next to him. Captain Random is that I got to see Craig Slike on Saturday. He was a little trashed yet super fun as Craig always is. We lost track of him right after the Dashboard set and when we tried to reconnect we couldn't reach him because he was apparently passed out in front of the Best Buy Stage. So all in all it was a fantastic and event filled weekend despite missing Fergie from the Black Eyed Peas wet herself. Sunday we went and said good bye to Matt and Brenda which was sad. How did we all grow up so fast?

I have no idea what I did during the week. Somehow I manage to have plans every single day but damned if I can remember what they are. I do know that Bad News Bears sucks. Billy Bob Thorton is great, but that is it. It gives me hope that maybe one day I can actually make a movie.

This weekend was 2 great things: First, Rachel's shower which meant that Winter came down for Friday night. We went shopping which was FANTASTIC. I forgot what it was like to just shop with someone my age. We bought Rach a BRILLIANT shower gift (don't ask me, ask Rachel) because we are evil roommates who like to give her a hard time. It's because we love you Rach. Anyway it was so great getting to hang out with Winter, I miss seeing you girls so much. And Rachel's shower was really fun too, despite Winter's car trouble. Poor Winter's CRV was spewing coolant everywhere and Rachel's Jason had to get it from the Target parking lot and look at it to see if it was drivable back up to Redlands or not. I'm sure she wrote all about it so I wont get too complicated. But the best part of the shower was getting to hang out with Rach and Winter and LEIGHANN! She and Thomas just moved into a new house and they are all excited about it. She's fantastic and it was great getting to see her. Rachel is all happy and stuff and I'm thrilled for her. And it was fun because I'm next! WHOO HOO! Tannan is very excited about this too. Second fun thing was that it was my dad's birthday and we did fun birthday stuff. I'm loosing steam here so I'm just going to stop now before I just Save as a Draft and don't do anything with it for another week.
